BRUCE CARROLL was born and enjoyed his childhood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He holds a BA in Communications from the University of the Ozarks, and has worked as both an actor and a magician as well as an author. He now lives in Burlington, Wisconsin with his wife, Angie, and their daughter, Heather.
For a time, Bruce offered his writing services online for a flat fee. His short stories were the most popular thing he wrote. He realized others were earning a royalty on his writing, so he decided to become an independent author.
His first book, Acting: From First Audition to Final Bow, started out as notes for an acting workshop he had proposed to a local community theater. Though he ended up with enough material for a book, the workshop never happened.
Bruce is currently working on his first novel, which was inspired by a dream. Look for it in the fall of 2017.
